3.5 Online Audio Cutter Demo
This is a very useful tool for trimming an audio clip or music file. In this demonstration I will take England's King Edward's 6-minute Abdication Speech from 1936 and extract the first 33 seconds from it:

3.6 Audio Cutting Activity
Save some sound files from the Internet on to your computer. (This page has a large selection of copyright-free sound and music files) Try using the Online Audio Cutter (below) to chop pieces from the audio files, and save the resulting shorter sounds on to your computer.

Spend some time exploring this list of Online Sound and Music Editing Tools The list will open in a new tab. When you have finished exploring the list, close the tab and continue to the assignment in Section 3.8.


3.8 Assignment 3 - Stitch 2 Sound Files Together
Use the Online Audio Joiner website tool (from the list in Section 3.7 above) to stitch 2 sound files together to create 1 single file. Save the resulting file to your computer and submit it to the course tutor via the 'Sound File Editing Task' submission facility at the bottom of the course Moodle page.
