St Josephs is on the verge of a major expansion. We have plans for a new 9-classroom extension, new P.E. hall, staffroom, principal's office, secretary's office, library, stores etc. It is a very big expansion costing in excess of 3 million euros. We have to raise €31,743.45 as our contribution. So far we have collected €21,089.73. Mr Noel Dempsey, Minister for Education & Science, on Wednesday January 22nd. 2003 announced that St. Joseph's, Templerainey would be one of the schools proceeding to construction in 2003.
