A smoke alarm is a warning device that detects smoke when a fire starts. It makes a very loud noise. Every house should have at least one smoke alarm. The smoke alarm should be checked every month to make sure it is working. Replace the batteries in a smoke alarm at least once every year and keep it free from dust. |
It is important to keep the floor clear of toys and games so you don't fall over if you have to leave your home quickly. |
