Clothes Men Most Indians wear brightly coloured, often white, loose clothes because the weather is so hot. Men wear a dhoti. It forms a sort of loose trousers. Some men wrap the garment around themselves like a skirt. In the North of India, a lot of men wear long coats and trousers. Men who's religion is Sikh, wear turbans on their heads. Many Indian ladies wear a sari. If the women are wealthy their saris may be made from silk with the edges in gold silk. In the north of India many of the women wear a full trousers with a long blouse and a veil. The women wear a kumkum on their foreheads as a mark of beauty.
