Remember!!

If there is a fire, call 112 and ask for the fire birgade. Tell the person on the phone:

1. What is on fire

2. The address

3. If there is anyone in the house

1. Smoke Alarm

smoke alarm A smoke alarm is a warning device that detects smoke when a fire starts. It makes a very loud noise. Every house should have at least one smoke alarm. The smoke alarm should be checked every month to make sure it is working. Replace the batteries in a smoke alarm at least once every year and keep it free from dust.

3.Escape Plan

escape plan You should have an escape plan for getting out of your house quickly if there is a fire. It is a good idea to put the escape plan in a place where everybody can see it. Good escape plans have two ways of getting out of each room. When escaping, stay low to the floor because smoke rises during a fire.
