Fonts

1. Stick to one or two fonts, too many different styles are disconcerting to the audience.

2. If you do use 2 fonts, choose 2 that visually contrast, e.g.

Arial Black   &   Courier,
not

Times New Roman
  &   Verdana

3. Sans serif fonts can lend authority to your presentation. However, they tend to have a technical, impersonal character.

4. Serif fonts tend to have a more personal, humanistic character and can help to involve the audience with the body of your text.

5. Choose a clean font that is easy to read.

6. Roman and Gothic typefaces are easier to read than Script or Old English.

7. Bulleted items should be no smaller than 28 points.

8. Titles should be at least 36 points.
